Make iPhone Text Size Larger
Show Transcript
Let’s make the text on your iPhone easier to see. Once you’ve done it, you’ll wonder why you didn’t try it sooner.
From your Home Screen, tap on Settings — that’s the little gray gear icon.
Now, scroll down a bit and find Accessibility. It has a small blue icon to the left, with a white graphic of a stick figure person inside a circle. Tap “Accessibility,” and then find “Display & Text Size.” Again, it has a blue and white icon to the left, this time with the letter “A” in two different sizes. Tap “Display & Text Size.”
Next, tap Larger Text — it’s the second option from the top.
At the bottom, you’ll see a slider.
Place your finger on it, and slide right to make the text larger — or left to make it smaller.
Try it a little at a time until it feels comfortable to read. If the text still isn’t quite large enough, no problem. At the top of the screen, turn on Larger Accessibility Sizes.
Then use the slider again — this time, you can make the text even bigger.
